This project is one in which we had to convert an open space car park, and the objective was to create a new workshop area to house heavy duty equipment, plant and machinery.

The space in which we needed to work and erect the new walls was extremely tight, and logistically everything needed to be accurate in order to transport the plant and machinery safely into their proposed positions.

Works Breakdown

Protection placement throughout and construction of hoarding to specific working areas before main works were due to commence.

Install 400m2 of partition walls and wall linings with various specification guidelines with a skim coat to finish.

By method of spraying, paint 275m2 of ceiling area rib deck and services.

Lay 250m2 of Altro Classic 25 vinyl with a Gradus PVC skirting to entire perimeter.

Lay 30m2 of Forbo Tessera Teviot Carpet.

1no mist coat and 2no coats of RAL 9010 to all newly formed partition walls.

Supply and in stallion of 9no fire rated timber doors with associated ironmongery.

Carry out all associated woodworks including door frames, skirtings and architraves.

Form 140mm wide dense concrete block wall incorporating a concrete lintel and double door set. All to be decorated upon completion.

Diamond drill through 600mm slab in order to prepare for the installation of duct work and services. To be fire stopped upon completion.

Various fire stops around existing services using fire batt, intumescent mastic and finishing off with an intumescent paint.

Installation of corner and wall protection to heavy traffic areas.

Project supervision for entirety of duration.

Full builders clean upon completion of works.
