This project involved the management and overseeing of a large number of operatives of many different skillsets.
Organisation was key as the works proceeded, as these operatives were working in the same areas, as well as working with incumbent contractors carrying out separate electrical installations.
The works took place in different areas and over different floors meaning, the protection and cordoning off the access routes was of vital importance to ensure the safety of the employees and our own operatives working within.
All of the works were carried out over evenings in the week and utilising full weekend days. Programmes were issued to the client for approval and adhered to without delay.
All noisy works and any dust generating works were undertaken out of normal working hours, evenings and weekends. Temporary protection, controlled movements and visual inspection of client areas returned to an ‘as found state’ all monitored on a daily basis.
Re-decoration to the entirety of the building’s floors inclusive of walls, ceilings, riser doors, skirtings and architraves.
Removal of existing carpet tiles and de-rocking the entire core area of raised access flooring, in preparation for the installation of Karndean Looselay Flooring.
Supply and installation or Karndean Looselay flooring to full floor core area and lift lobby / bathroom corridor.
Installation of new veneered cupboard doors and shelving to tea point and printer areas, with a relocation of double sockets and spurs.
Application of DDA compliant manifestation to all core corridor glass doors.
Carry out a ceiling clean to existing metal SAS ceiling in Cafeteria.
Supply and installation of brick slips to various office and tea point locations throughout.
Supply and Installation of new fire rated steel access door on the roof.
Redecoration of lines and hatching in car park.
Removal of existing boardroom slab to slab TV wall.
Supply and installation of 2nr new fire rated timber door sets.
Supply and installation of new reinforced, flush TV wall with an alteration to storage room behind, to convert into new AV room.
Installation of new raised access floor in AV room and a decoration to all newly installed / altered areas
