Kennington Lane

Workplace

Overview

This transformative project involved converting two residential houses into a fully functional commercial office space, blending heritage charm with modern design. Our team undertook extensive demolition, structural alterations, and underpinning works to prepare the buildings for their new purpose, while carefully preserving key listed features – including original doors and aged ironmongery – for reinstatement upon completion.

New partition walls were installed to define efficient workspaces, alongside upgraded timber windows that retained the character of the original architecture. We delivered bespoke joinery throughout, including a new kitchen, refurbished timber flooring and fully fitted bathroom and toilet areas, ensuring both style and practicality.

The result is a seamless amalgamation of old and new: a contemporary office environment enriched by historic detailing, offering both functionality and timeless appeal.
