Tower 42

Construction

Overview

We have been delivering works at Tower 42 for over three years, supporting ICW and the building’s management team in a major programme to upgrade the M&E infrastructure and transition the building to a fully electric system, a key milestone in its journey toward net-zero operational carbon.

All works have been completed within a live, operational environment, predominantly outside normal working hours to minimise disruption. TAD has undertaken complex demolition, enabling and BWIC works, fire-stopping, and the construction of new switch rooms across multiple levels, including Levels 44, 42, 31, 22, 13 and the sub-basement.

This programme has required careful coordination, technical expertise and phased delivery within a highly serviced, occupied high-rise asset.
