Equinix Data Centre's

Construction

Overview

We have been delivering multiple large-scale data centre projects for Equinix across Slough and London, including LD4, LD8, and LD10. These projects form part of Equinix’s ongoing investment in resilient, high-performance digital infrastructure, supporting critical operations for global clients.

Our scope of works included the full installation of raised access flooring systems, internal partition walls, and Tate ceiling systems, all delivered to the strict standards required within live and operational data centre environments. Each phase of the project was carefully planned and executed to ensure minimal disruption, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and operational continuity at all times.

We worked in close collaboration with the appointed M&E contractors, supporting major upgrades to AHU cooling systems to improve efficiency and reliability. Our team also delivered extensive BWIC (Builders Work in Connection), enabling the smooth integration of new mechanical and electrical services, along with the installation and coordination of busbar power systems to support increased capacity and future expansion.

These projects required detailed coordination, high levels of quality control, and a strong focus on health and safety, given the critical nature of the facilities and the live working environment. TAD’s ability to work flexibly, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and deliver consistently to programme has strengthened our ongoing relationship with Equinix and reinforced our reputation as a trusted partner within the data centre sector.
